The product includes a high-end video input and encoding card along with an attractive and easy to use GUI. The Sony DICOM media acquisition solution The DICOM Capture Station supports the simultaneous acquisition of still and moving material and its association with patient data as per the DICOM standard. Patient data can either be collected from department information systems or entered manually by the operator. While an operation is in progress, the user can create new series, still and movies. Once the operation is complete, the user has the choice to: burn studies to CD or DVD, print on DICOM and Windows printers or to send studies to central storage locations. Operation of the device is from an all new Graphical User Interface that is intuitive and user friendly.
